What we collect,and why.

Your account. Your name, your email address, how you sign in (Google or an email code), and that you confirmed you're an agent or on an agent's team. If you use Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile picture with us.

What goes on your reports. Your name and account email, and what you add when you sign up or in Settings: your photo, license type, mobile number and licenses, and your brokerage's name, office phone and logo. On a team, the team's name and logo.

Your requests and reports. The addresses and listings you send us on the website, by email, or in Claude or ChatGPT, the changes you ask for, and every version of the reports we make. If you type an address before you sign up, we use it to check whether we cover the area, and it's saved to your account when you create one. If you ask us to tell you when we cover an area, we keep your email and that address.

Messages. What you send through our contact form or to our email addresses: your name, email and message.

Billing. Your plan, payments and invoices. Stripe collects your card details; we never see your full card number.

How you use Property Scan. How you found us (the site or ad that sent you), when you sign up and run reports, and which ways you use it. Our servers also see your IP address and browser, which we use to keep Property Scan secure.

• To make your reports, print your details on them, and deliver them where you asked.
• To run your account, your team and your billing.
• To answer you when you write to us.
• To email you about your account and your reports. We also send a few emails about getting more from Property Scan, like a note after your free reports are used, and each has a link to unsubscribe.
• To keep Property Scan secure, including stopping bots, abuse and repeat free trials.
• To understand what works and improve Property Scan.
• To follow the law.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

With the companies that help us run Property Scan, each only for its part of the job:

• Vercel hosts the site and the app, stores report PDFs, photos and logos, counts visits, checks forms for bots, and connects us to AI models.
• Clerk runs accounts and sign-in, including signing in with Google and a bot check.
• Neon hosts our database.
• Resend sends and receives our email, including reports by email and messages to us.
• Stripe handles payments for paid plans.
• Anthropic's Claude models, through Vercel's AI Gateway, read your request and help choose the comps.
• Property-record and address lookup services get the address of the home you asked about, and nothing about you.
• Calendly, if you open the booking calendar on our contact page.

Your team. If you're on a team, its admins see every report the team pays for, with your name on it.

People you send reports to. Your name, photo, contact details, licenses and brokerage are on your reports, their PDFs and emails, and their share pages, for anyone you send them to or who has the link. Share pages aren't listed in search engines.

Claude and ChatGPT. If you use Property Scan in them, they handle your conversation under their own privacy policies. We get only what the assistant sends us for the report, not the rest of your chat.

We also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety or our rights. If Property Scan is sold or merged, your information moves with it, under this policy.

We keep your account, your requests and your reports while your account is open, so your report history stays complete.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except what the law makes us keep, like billing records. Reports a team paid for stay with the team, with your name and details printed on them, but not your photo. PDFs and emails you already sent can't be recalled. Copies in our backups expire on their own soon after.

If you write to us, or ask us to tell you when we cover your area, we keep that until you ask us to delete it.

Vercel's visit counts don't identify you, and the daily visitor code they use is thrown away after 24 hours.

The site and the app use encrypted connections, and only the people who run Property Scan can get into our systems.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we'll tell you as the law requires. Found a security problem? Write to security@propertyscan.ai.

Update it. Change your name, email and report details in Settings.

See, correct, export or delete it. Write to privacy@propertyscan.ai from the email on your account. We'll check it's you, then reply within 30 days.

Fewer emails. Unsubscribe from emails about getting more from Property Scan with the link in each one. Emails about your account and your reports keep coming while you have an account.

Where you live. Some places, like California, give you more rights, such as knowing what we collect and why. We honor them, and we won't treat you differently for using them.

Property Scan is made for US real estate, and we store your information in the United States.

Cookies. Ours only keep you signed in and keep Property Scan secure, and none are for advertising. If you open the booking calendar, Calendly sets its own.

Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics counts visits and a few actions on the site, without cookies. It gets counts, like which box you used or which state you asked about, and never your name, your email, an address or the words you type.

Do Not Track. We don't track you across other sites, sell your information or use it for advertising, so a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal has nothing to turn off.

Your browser. If you type an address before you sign up, your browser keeps it for that tab so it survives sign-up. It's cleared when you close the tab or sign out.

Property Scan is for real estate professionals and isn't meant for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has sent us information, write to privacy@propertyscan.ai and we'll delete it.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll email you before the change takes effect and update the date at the top.
